Now that the 'noughties' are over and the 'eenies' are beginning, ‘the naughties housewife is getting a makeover. It will now be known as ‘The modern Guide To Housewifery’ and will still aim to address the trials and tribulations of being a housewife in the modern era with great humor, handy hints and ways to cut corners when keeping house.

Running a tight ship on the home front should not require endless hours of elbow grease and subservience. A modern housewife simply needs an arsenal of handy tricks up her sleeve for giving the appearance of perfect home harmony in a neat, tidy home.

The Modern guide to housewifery is compulsive reading for anyone who needs a little guidance in these challenging times and doesn’t have time to watch Dr Phil. Although I am not a doctor and have no formal training in self-help or guidance counseling I am always happy to give my five cents for free.
